Our Toy Drive Mission
State Avenue Dental Office proudly announces our second annual holiday Toy Drive. This month, December, we will be gathering donations of toys, books, and art supplies that will be given to children in hospital care. We aim to bring joy and hope to those who need it most during this special time of year.
By donating, you can make a difference in the lives of these young patients, who are often facing difficult circumstances. Donations may include new toys such as stuffed animals, dolls, cars or trucks; books appropriate for children aged 0-18; or art supplies suitable for a wide range of creative activities. All donations should be non-violent and non-offensive in nature.
We will be accepting donations at our State Avenue office until 12/21. As a thank-you for your generous contribution, all participants will receive a unique QR code that grants them entry into our Christmas drawing. One lucky winner will be selected from the drawing and receive a prize from our office!
At State Avenue Dental Office, we believe that every child deserves a happy holiday season no matter what their circumstances may be. We have partnered with Children’s Mercy, our largest local chain of children’s hospitals to ensure that all donated items reach those who truly need them and bring smiles to faces throughout the community. Donation guidelines.
We will happily and graciously accept items that are:
New with tags attached
In original packaging
Non-toxic and latex-free
Odor-free
Season-specific (i.e. Spring, Summer)
Unfortunately, we cannot accept items if they:
Are gently used
Are gift-wrapped
Contain latex or toxins (check labels carefully)
Have been stored or displayed for any length of time
Are nerf guns, swords, light sabers, knives, or bows and arrows
Are religious, or specific to religious holidays

At State Avenue Dental Office, we are thrilled to offer an amazing prize for those who participate in our Toy Drive Events. one lucky individual will receive a Sonicare electric toothbrush worth $100 and a complete Philips Custom Whitening kit with a value of $199 - that's a total of $300 worth of prizes!
Certificate for teeth whitening kit valid only after initial cleaning, exam and xrays have been completed in office and doctor has cleared patient as a qualified candidate for whitening. Unfortunately, there are certain oral conditions that could exclude some patients from being considered as eligible candidates. If this happens to be the case, the patient can give their certificate to someone else who is interested in getting an exam and cleaning to see if they can get whitening treatment.
